The Race for my character in World of Warcraft is a Pandaren. The Pandaren race was introduced as a new playable race in the World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria that was released on September 25, 2012. For the Pandaren the most important aspect of their culture is “living in the moment” such that, every action and event of their lives is undertaken with enormous energy and enthusiasm. In the game World of Warcraft, one of the two main philosophies is Huojin that states that “inaction is the greatest injustice” and for followers of the Huojin they follow the “live in the moment” ideology of their race to the most extreme (World Of Warcraft). In this way the Pandaren take everything they do to an extreme. IN Warcraft III the frozen Throne an older Warcraft game the character encounters Chen Sromstout who is in Kalimdor looking for ingredient to create the perfect brew (Warcraft III). However, due to their enthusiastic nature and the nature of their home Pandaria negative emotions such as anger, or sadness literally take physical form as Sha, or evil spirits, and cause trouble on Pandaria. Therefore, the Pandaren culture and society emphasizes every pandaren to attain inner harmony and focus through a quiet and peaceful life. In the game of World of Warcraft, the other of the two philosophies for the Pandaren is the Tushui, that believe life to be venerable through meditation, rigorous training and moral conviction emphasizing the ideology of the Pandaren Race of a life of inner harmony and focus (World of Warcraft). The boisterous peace and life loving attitudes of the Pandaren encompasses their cultures ideology perfectly. Generally, the Pandaren are content to live in isolation but from time to time a Pandaren will journey to the outside world such as Chen Stormstout in the events of the third War but due tot eh the events of cataclysm the Pandaren isolation have ended and must engage the outside world (Warcraft III). The Ideology of the Pandaren can be summarized by their love of life and peace, by encountering everything with extreme enthusiasm and protecting peace through any means necessary with determined focus.
